Meet the Camp Counselors
Kristen Apodaca
Kristen has worked in the animal care industry in some way shape or form her entire life. As a teenager and young adult she worked for various professional dog show handlers. She grew up in the veterinary world since her mother is a veterinarian and owned her own practice. She worked at her mother’s practice (Kanuga Animal Clinic) for 16+ years and has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2012. She also breeds and raises English setters. Her son River loves to help with the pets any chance he gets.
Tiffany Mooney
Tiffany has worked in the animal care industry as well. Tiffany owns plenty of pets—she knows what it means to have the love, loyalty, and companionship of an animal friend at home. That’s why she loves to do everything in her power to help others’ pets stay happy and healthy! She also cares for 3, two-legged critters (with a 4th on the way ;-). You will see these little hooligans running around Critter Camp helping care for our wonderful guests!
